On Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) at FOREsight
Since our launch more than 15 years ago, we have been committed to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion from day one, as our Founder & CEO was personally impacted by being discriminated against as a person of color throughout his childhood. As a minority owned and operated business certified in 2017, and with almost 100% diversity amongst our team, based on the 8 social identifiers, we feel blessed to serve nonprofits, schools and social enterprises, most of which also largely support communities of color. We work to empower our clients to understand and practice responsible financial management, which ensures the organizations we serve continue impacting BIPOC individuals.
Additionally, we care tremendously about using the power of business as a force for good and have been a Certified B Corp since 2013. We also recently converted from an S Corporation to a Benefit Corporation in 2019, which demonstrates our commitment to higher standards of purpose, accountability and transparency for our clients. We published our first annual Benefit Report in 2020 that demonstrates our impact on society in 2019, which can be found on our website.
