CSBM & FOREsight Founder & CEO Raj Thakkar attended the 2026 Fall Tennessee Charter School Convening, held September 22–23 in Nashville, Tennessee.
Hosted by the Tennessee Department of Education and the Tennessee Charter School Center, the statewide convening brought together charter school leaders, administrators, authorizers, state education leaders, and other partners from across Tennessee’s charter school community.
Over two days, attendees had opportunities to connect and exchange ideas while participating in sessions covering academics, finance and operations, personnel and human capital, assessment and accountability, coordinated school health, and legal and legislative updates.
Attending events like the Tennessee Charter School Convening provides an important opportunity to listen and learn directly from charter school leaders, better understand the opportunities and challenges facing schools in different communities, and build relationships with others working to strengthen the charter school sector.
We appreciate the Tennessee Charter School Center and Tennessee Department of Education for bringing the charter school community together and creating opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.
