KAMILAH O’ BRIEN

Role at FOREsight

As a Senior Financial Manager at CSBM, Kamilah helps her clients manage their day-to-day financial operations and accounting needs, as well as being a financial thought partner, such as monthly cash flow projections, monthly close, quarterly payroll reconciliations, forecasting, and yearly audit preparation and review. She also helps to ensure that they are complying with their financial policies and procedures for internal controls.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining CSBM, Kamilah has worked extensively with New York City Charter Schools, first as Director of Operations at Brownsville Ascend Charter School, followed by Director of Operations with the Charter School Office at the NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE). Prior to joining CSBM, Kamilah was a Financial Analyst with the NYCDOE.
