One of our local community-focused organizations contacted us about their Controller. They believed this person was ready to step into more responsibility, but wasn’t sure how to get them there. Additionally, they had the complexity of needing to transition to new accounting software which can be a time-consuming process. To support them, we took the software upgrade off their plate and worked directly with the ERP to transition the existing data to the new system and ensure the processes and flows worked for the organization’s needs. Simultaneously, we created a professional development routine for the year to help understand their Controller’s current abilities and goals and provide guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to help them take on new responsibilities.
