Role at CSBM
As a Director in Consulting Services, Kamilah provides strategic support to a portfolio of charter school and nonprofit clients while leading and developing the internal teams that serve them. They oversee resource planning, team performance, and client success, acting as a key point of escalation. They also partner with senior leadership on cross-functional initiatives and process improvements that strengthen CSBM’s operations and client experience.
Prior Experience
Prior to joining CSBM, Kamilah has worked extensively with New York City Charter Schools, first as Director of Operations at Brownsville Ascend Charter School, followed by Director of Operations with the Charter School Office at the NYC Department of Education (NYCDOE). Prior to joining CSBM, Kamilah was a Financial Analyst with the NYCDOE.
